Chicago, IL–  Allen & Glassman, Chartered, is pleased to announce Mary Carlson as an Associate attorney.  “We are excicted to welcome Mary to the Allen & Glassman family,” stated founding partner Gemma Allen. “Her passion for children’s rights adds to our strong practice in this area.”  

Ms. Carlson joined Allen & Glassman, Chartered in May 2019 upon Illinois Bar passage. She  previously clerked at another Chicago family law firm and a Chicago municipal law firm during her time Loyola University School of Law. 

Ms. Carlson was a Senior Editor of Loyola’s Compliance Journal, a member of the Women’s Law Society, a member of the National Child Welfare and Adoption Law Moot Court Team, and a clinician in Loyola’s Child Law Clinic through the Civitas ChildLaw Center. 

“I became a family law attorney to pursue a career in which I spend my time helping people navigate through some of the most challenging and difficult periods of their lives,” she stated. “The work we do at Allen & Glassman is emotionally and professionally challenging, but is always rewarding.”

Ms Carlson is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
